THANK YOU!
You gave. You shared. You believed. And it made a difference. Together, we reached our $100,000 fundraising goal — matched by a generous family for a total of $200,000! These funds will train the next generation of eye care professionals through Seva’s Dr. Suzanne Gilbert Training Academy.
Through Seva’s training academy, Saisiri became a vision technician, supporting both her community and herself. Tanvi turned early inspiration into a career caring for children with eye cancer. Uday, a pastor and vision advocate, detected his son’s cataracts — and now screens children across his community.
These are just three of thousands who are now restoring sight, strengthening health systems in their communities, and transforming lives.

Whether you donated, spread the word, or simply upheld our mission, thank you, for supporting lasting change.
With gratitude,
Julie Nestingen
Chief Philanthropy Officer
P.S. Curious about the power of your gift? Seva trained Sunita. She trained 150+ eye care professionals across India — and they in turn trained thousands more who will train thousands more. Watch the video at the top of this page to hear from her!

SEVA Foundation has been doing great work. Happy to know Dr Suzanne Gilbert has an eye trainer academy to her name. Hope her work goes on. I’m a community ophthalmologist in my own small way. I too have brought change through my work but only in a small way. Like a force multiplier. Good luck to global eye care.
Hello
We are an association of rural disabled people in Chikankata district in southern province of Zambia looking for partners who are passionate about reaching out to people with disabilities to help them in improving their quality of life. As persons with disabilities in Chikankata district we are looking for partners to help in community outreach eye care to prevent people from being blind. As persons with disabilities we want to work with communities in disease prevention and in social economic integration of persons with disabilities in our communities. Is there any possibility that you can consider supporting us to establish community outreach programmes
Thank you for reaching out to us again and for the great work that you are doing. Seva is not yet looking to expand our work to Zambia, but we have your information on file for future reference. We wish you success with your work.
